Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management (DeAWM) has appointed Henry Wong as new head of Asian fixed income for Asia-Pacific region.

Based in Hong Kong, Wong will report to Elke Schoeppl-Jost, CIO for Asia Pacific and regional asset class head of fixed income and multi-assets.

In his new role, Wong will be responsible for boosting the firm’s range of solutions for clients who are seeking exposure to the region’s fixed-income markets.

Prior to joining DeAWM, Wong worked with BEA Union Investment Management as CIO for fixed income managing Asia fixed income in both hard and local currencies for unit trusts and institutional clients.

Before to this, he served as head of Asian fixed income at BNP Paribas Asset Management. He has 26 years of asset management and banking experience.
