Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management (DeAWM) has appointed Simon Mendelson as new managing director and head of product management and development in the US.
Based in New York, Mendelson will report to Jerry Miller, head of Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management, Americas.

In his new role, Mendelson will lead the development, implementation and positioning of DeAWM’s investment products and solutions in the Americas.
Additionally, he will also be responsible for aligning DeAWM’s investment and distribution channels, not only to develop and deliver new products as well as to manage and optimize existing product capabilities.
Prior to joining DeAWM, Mendelson has worked for nine years at BlackRock, most recently serving as global head of product development. Earlier to this, he has also worked for 14 years at McKinsey & Co as a senior partner in the financial institutions practice from 1990 to 2005 to focus on insurance, brokerage, and asset management.
Miller said: "His appointment will help to accelerate DeAWM’s growth strategy by aligning our product offerings with the needs of investors."
