Singapore-based lender DBS has appointed Rob Ioannou as the head of international at DBS Private Bank.
Ioannou will be responsible for the Global South Asia and Non Resident Indian teams, the Europe, Middle East and Africa geographies, and the Japan International segment. He will report to DBS Private Bank deputy head Lawrence Lua.

Ioannou has an experience of more than two decades in the financial services industry, most recently as the co-head at HSBC Private Bank for Southeast Asia and as a director of HSBC Trust Company Singapore.
During his 13-year spell at HSBC Private Bank, he served in several senior roles in London and Singapore such as business head for domestic and international markets, and head of UHNW international for HSBC Private Bank in the UK.
Ioannou previously also worked at Citibank in London, and as a senior coverage private banker for UHNW and international clients at J.P Morgan.
