DBS Private Bank has appointed Joseph Poon as the regional head of South East Asia and promoted Lawrence Lua as deputy head.
Lua, formerly head of South & Southeast Asia at DBS Private Bank, will continue to report to group head of consumer banking & wealth management Tan Su Shan.

Poon, who will assume the new role on 16 August 2016, will report to Lua. He most recently served as the head of UBS Wealth Management – Ultra High Net Worth and Global Family Office businesses for South East Asia.
Previously, he also served in senior roles at various private banks such as Julius Baer, Macquarie Private Bank Asia and JPMorgan Singapore.
