Danske Bank Private Banking is planning to launch a new family office business focusing on individuals with larger and more complex economy in January next year.

The new family office unit will serve clients by providing a customized team of specialists including asset managers, tax advisers and lawyers.

The unit will also include specialists from the bank’s other business areas such as business banking, agricultural, forestry and markets as well from its subsidiaries Danske Capital and Danica Pension.

The new business, which is based on the bank’s existing private banking offering, will provide extended service as well as additional service offerings, including contingent management, specialty insurance, personal protection, asset allocation services and a VIP network.
