Dubai-based Daman Investments has named Farid Samji as new head of asset management unit, Daman Investments PSC.

Also, the company has hired Ahmed Seif as general manager and head of brokerage, Daman Securities.

Samji, who has over 15 years of industry experience, has held several senior management roles at public and private international and regional banks and other financial and investment institutions.

Seif joined Daman Investments in 2009 as head of operations, Daman Securities. He has 14 years of experience with some of the top ten brokerage houses in Egypt and the GCC region.

Daman Investments managing director Shehab Gargash said: "Farid and Ahmed bring with them a wealth of experience and their contribution will be vital in supporting Daman Investments’ new phase of sustained development as we are approaching the company’s 20th birthday which we will celebrate in 2018."
