Claudio de Sanctis will take over his new role from April 1, 2013 and will be based in Singapore. He will report to the head of private banking Asia-Pacific, Francesco de Ferrari.
As the managing director and market area head, de Sanctis will lead the private banking business in Southeast Asia, working closely with the respective market leaders in the Southeast Asian region.

Additionally, he will focus on collaboration opportunities across Credit Suisse’s integrated bank to capitalize on the synergies and business opportunities in Southeast Asia, drive profitable business growth and advance market share, The Asset added.
Prior to joining Credit Suisse, de Sanctis was the managing director and market head Iberia and Nordics at UBS Wealth Management Europe and before that, he was the head of key clients unit Europe at private banking in Barclays focussing on UHNW clients and had also worked at Merrill Lynch Private Wealth Management EMEA region.
