Credit Suisse has hired Brian Chan as head of equity derivatives sales in the Swiss private bank’s Asia-Pacific unit.

Chan will replace Min Park, whose four-year stint at Credit Suisse ended in April.

Chan, who was previously head of equity derivatives retail products for Asia-Pacific, will be responsible for all structuring and distribution of equity derivatives products to private and retail investor clients in the region, alongside his sales management responsibilities for Hong Kong, Japan and Korea.

Chan has been with Credit Suisse since 2009 and has worked in various leadership roles within the regional and global equity derivatives management team.

Chan will report to Ken Pang, head of equity derivatives for Asia-Pacific, and will continue to be based in Hong Kong.

Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Chan spent five years at UBS in trading and platform development roles.
