Credit Suisse Group’s global head of asset management Bob Jain is set to depart from the bank to join as co-chief investment officer at New York-based hedge fund Millennium Management.
In his new role, Jain will manage capital allocations and risk, alongside Millennium founder Israel Englander.

Jain began his career at O’Connor & Associates as an options trader, before joining Credit Suisse in index arbitrage in 1996.
His earlier roles at the Swiss lender included co-head of global securities, global head of proprietary trading, as well as head of arbitrage strategies.
According to media reports, Jain is expected to join Millennium later in 2016.
