In recognition of Credit Suisse’s commitment and presence in Guernsey and Jersey the company has now changed name, with the following name changes taking effect from Friday 17 May 2013.
Credit Suisse (Guernsey) Limited has become Credit Suisse (Channel Islands) Limited and Credit Suisse (Guernsey) Limited, Jersey Branch has become Credit Suisse (Channel Islands) Limited, Jersey Branch.

Chief Executive Officer of Credit Suisse in the Channel Islands, Roy McGregor, said that the new name would better reflect the developing nature of its private banking and asset management business in the islands. ‘Over the past five years our focus has been on the wealth management services that we offer both to Channel Island residents and through our network of local intermediaries,’ said Mr McGregor. ‘Our business in Guernsey and Jersey continues to develop and we wanted to reflect this pan-island interest in our name.’
A new website which includes full details of products and services together with profiles of the relationship management teams in both islands has been launched to coincide with the name change.
