Credit Suisse Asset Management has named Stephen Foster as its new CEO, replacing Nigel Hill who stepped down from his role at the end of October 2013.
Hill has since been appointed as global head of front services and chief operating officer at Credit Suisse’s private banking and wealth management arm, which includes the firm’s asset management business, fundweb.co.uk has reported.

Foster has also retained his existing position as chief operating officer within EMEA alternative investments at Credit Suisse, the report said.
Prior to this Foster also held senior roles within the investment bank and asset management businesses at Credit Suisse including global co-head of hedge fund services.
