As the head of Geneva region, Fehr will be responsible for the firm’s private banking activities in that area and in the district of Nyon.
Fehr succeeds Manuel Jetzer, who had served in the position for six years.

A statement from Credit Suisse said that Jetzer wished to take up another role within the bank.
Fehr had joined Credit Suisse in 1996 and has 30 years of industry experience in banking and domestic and cross-border financial activities in Geneva.
The bank has also appointed Matthew Haimes as the head of its UHNW segment, market area UK/international in August.
Haimes will take up his role on 20 November 2012 and will report to Blake Shorthouse, head of the UHNW business in the EMEA region, and Erich Pfister, head of market area UK/international. He replaces Ian Dembinski, who was appointed head of UK domestic clients.
