Coutts, the wealth division of Royal Bank of Scotland Group (RBS), has appointed Donna Burns as head of human resources.
Donna joins Coutts from The Renaissance Group, where she was most recently a managing director and global head of HR, based in Moscow.
In her new role, Donna will be based in London and will oversee the human resources’ agenda across all geographies of Coutts.

She will report to Rory Tapner, chief executive, wealth, and Tony Williams, HR director, international businesses at RBS.
Donna will also join the Coutts Executive Committee and will lead a multi-jurisdictional team of human resource professionals.
Commenting on the appointment, Tapner said: "Private banking and wealth are relationship-driven industries and Donna’s extensive knowledge of Human Resources and broad industry experience will be instrumental in the attraction and retention of high calibre professionals to serve our sophisticated client base."
Prior to Renaissance Group, Donna worked as a managing director in human capital management at Goldman Sachs for nine years.
