Coutts CIO for Asia and the Middle East Gary Dugan has resigned from his post to assume new role as CIO of National Bank of Abu Dhabi.
Meanwhile, Arne Hassel who is currently head of investments will take over Dugan’s responsibilities until a replacement is made.

A Coutts spokesperson has confirmed Dugan’s departure without elaborating.
Dugan has been based in Singapore since joining Coutts in July 2012.
Prior to joining Coutts, Dugan served as CIO of Dubai’s Emirates NBD, replacing Norman Villamin who relocated to Zurich to become CIO for Europe.
