Chua will be based in Singapore and will be responsible for leading the teams of private bankers covering Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand in order to achieve the strategic business growth objectives in each market.

Additionally, she will have to develop and deliver distinct client propositions with the objective to enhance client satisfaction across these countries.

She will report to Ranjit Khanna, head of Southeast Asia & Global NRI at Coutts.

Chua is a veteran having almost 20 years of banking and financial services experience. Most recently she was the executive director and desk head of the Singapore team at UBS AG, Singapore, where she successfully led a team of bankers in growing and managing a billion dollar portfolio.

Previously, she had also worked at ABN AMRO Singapore, Allianz Dresdner Asset Management and Citibank Singapore.
