In the newly created role which is based in London, Wilson will lead a global team and report to Ian Ewart, who is the head of products, services and marketing.
Further, the firm’s products and services development team will work on the overall delivery process for new products, from their development through to implementation.

Prior to joining Coutts, Wilson was the head of product for the advisory arm within its wealth and investment business at Barclays, where he had fronted the team responsible for creating and delivering products as well as managing the existing range of products.
And before being the head of product for the advisory arm at Barclays, he had held senior positions in the structured capital markets at Barclays, and was previously part of the structured solutions group at Citigroup.
Recently, Coutts had hired Ben Hunt from Barclays Wealth, to drive its presence in the derivative products market and enhance its risk management capabilities.
