Blake, who is currently based in London as chief of staff for the wealth division, will be returning to Asia to take on this new role, which will see him overseeing all functions in the region and drive the Asia strategy.
Blake will be responsible to bring together all components of the business and enhance connectivity with the bank’s UK and Swiss hubs.

He will be supported by two regional market heads, Ranjit Khanna in Singapore and Iggy Chong in Hong Kong who will take leadership of the front office, and work with Ken Sue, head of products & services Asia, in driving the business development, the bank said in a statement.
Additionally, the bank has also named Chong as the chairman of the Coutts Institute in Asia.
Coutts International CEO Alex Classen said, "I am excited to have a general manager of Michael’s caliber in the region as we move to the next phase of our development."
