Cofunds, a UK-based investment platform for advisers, has named Paul McMahon as strategy director on an initial six-month contract.
He will join to the executive committee and reports to CEO David Hobbs.

Prior to accepting the current role, McMahon served as a director of strategy and marketing at AXA, managing director at AXA Elevate.
Most recently, McMahon was UK chief executive of platform provider FNZ, however, he left the role in March 2013.
Before working for FNZ, he acted as group marketing director at Aegon.
Commenting on the appointment Hobbs said, "We have big plans for this business, and having his knowledge and drive at the top table will be invaluable."
