City Financial head of UK asset management, Ed Rosengarten, is set to leave the firm to pursue other opportunities.

Rosengarten’s role will be taken over by Andrew Williams, CEO of City Financial.

At City Finacial, Rosengarten was responsible for integrating the Eden team into City Financial as well as initiating and developing the firm’s in-house investment management capabilities.

Rosengarten has joined City Financial in October 2012 when it acquired the asset management arm of Eden Financial. He has joined Eden in February 2011.

Prior to joining Elden, Rosengarten spent 18 years at M&G including serving as CEO of equities.

"The City Financial investment management and sales teams are now fully integrated into the business and are delivering strong performance across the board. Having successfully completed this transition, Ed feels it is the right time to move on," according to the firm’s statement.
