CitiTrust, a subsidiary of Citigroup in Tokyo, has appointed Stewart Aldcroft as its new CEO.
As CEO, Aldcroft will also lead the team to develop new initiatives, and grow its client base and reach across the Asia-Pacific region.

Based in Hong Kong, he will report to David Russell, regional head for securities and fund services Asia Pacific.
Aldcroft joined Citi in August 2011, and previously held senior business development and leadership roles in managing traditional mutual funds, hedge and alternative investment funds, structured products and exchange traded funds.
With more than 30 years of experience in the asset management industry, he served on the executive committee of the Hong Kong Investment Funds Association and AIMA (HK branch).
CitiTrust is the provider of trustee services to a number of Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) constituent funds, approved pooled investment funds (APIF) and SFC unit trusts in Hong Kong.
