Bardrick will report to Zdenek Turek, chief executive officer for EMEA as well as Bill Mills, the CEO for North America.

Additionally, Bardrick will remain as vice chairman of corporate and investment banking for EMEA, and continue to serve on the bank’s EMEA operating committee.

Bardrick, who joined Citi in 1987, most recently served as co-head of corporate and investment banking for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The move will see Manolo Falco becoming sole head of Citi’s European corporate and investment banking unit, four and a half years after becoming co-head together with Bardrick.
