Reddy will report to Chris Biotti, who took on the role of Citi’s North America private bank head last year.

Biotti said: “Chad is a proven leader with a strong track record of advising ultra-high-net-worth clients and building high-performing teams. His deep experience, combined with his relationship-led approach, will be instrumental as we accelerate growth and continue to deliver the full capabilities of Citi to our clients.”

Last September, Citi Wealth reached an agreement with BlackRock to manage around $80bn in assets for its wealth clients.

The two companies also launched ‘Citi Portfolio Solutions powered by BlackRock’, which integrates Citi Wealth’s advisory resources with BlackRock’s investment and technology capabilities.
