American banking major Citi is planning to add 600 new jobs in Belfast, Northern Ireland to further boost its operations.
The firm, which currently employs 1,500 people in Northern Ireland, will create the new jobs in Belfast in a £54 million investment.

The new positions will command £35,000 annual salaries.
Citi said the new jobs will include highly skilled posts providing a range of support services such as specialist investment banking functions to the global organization.
The firm’s Belfast operation provides support such as legal and technology services to company operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
James Bardrick, country officer with Citi UK, said: "The supply of talent in Northern Ireland, particularly at graduate level, is impressive and, coupled with the support from Invest NI and DEL, it makes this region highly attractive to a global company like Citi seeking the best location for growth."
