Clarity also supports self-service customisation functionalities such as data on demand via application programming interface.

The platform is integrated with Citi’s research and trading platform named Citi Velocity. The company said that this integration will facilitate a single entry point to its data, analytics, research and execution services.

The platform had been piloted to a core set of customers earlier in 2017, and will be rolled out to custody and fund service global accounting clients throughout this year. Plans are on to roll out the offering to other clients next year.

Citi global head of custody and fund services Sanjiv Sawhney said: “Clarity was designed as a turnkey capability, which allows clients to navigate through investment data in a seamless manner without the expense and timeframe usually required to implement a full data warehouse.
