Deepak Sharma, chairman of Citi Private Bank, will retire at the end of April after 38 years with the American bank, according to a memo seen by PBI.
Sharma began his career in 1976 as a management associate with Citi in India. He has held management positions in several branches of the bank and held leadership positions in their global wealth management and Citi Smith Barney divisions before relocating to Singapore and becoming chairman of the private bank.
