Citi Private Bank has appointed Ken Peng as new investment strategist for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.

In his new role, Peng will be responsible for formulating investment views and strategies for Asian markets across asset classes.

Additionally, he will also join the global investment committee of the bank to contribute to its asset allocation decisions.

Based in Hong Kong, Peng will report to Steven Wieting, global chief investment strategist and So-Yon Sohn, Asia Pacific investments head.

Prior to joining CPB, Peng served as senior china economist at BNP Paribas for the past two years. Previously, he had worked for Citi Investment Research for 11 years.
