Citi has appointed David H Tenney as a managing director and regional head of sales for the Americas in the firm’s Prime Brokerage business.
In this newly created role, he will manage the firm’s unified hedge fund sales efforts across Prime Brokerage, Securities Lending and Delta One.

Tenney will be based in New York and report to Alan Pace, global head of sales and client experience, David Murphy, head of Prime Finance for the Americas and John Gallo, head of North American Sales.
Tenney brings more than 23 years of senior management and sales experience to this role. Most recently, he was a managing director and head of client relations at Forester Capital LLC.
Prior to Forester Capital, he was a managing director at Russell Investments leading its alternative investments business including hedge funds, real estate, commodities, infrastructure and private equity.
He has also spent 21 years at Goldman Sachs and held a variety of management roles across the firm’s Securities and Investment Research divisions.
