Citi said Hendriks will work closely with its Equity and Private Investor Solutions Group, which provides risk management and investment solutions to a broad range of investors. Equity and Private Investor Solutions is led in the EMEA region by Carolina Minio-Paluello, while Stephen Birkwood within that group is responsible for the Netherlands.

Hendriks was previously co-head of sales for Europe (excluding Germany and Austria), Middle East and Africa for Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM), departing in 2009. Prior to that, he was global head of institutional sales at Robeco, the Dutch asset manager.

In addition to his newly appointed role at Citi, Hendriks currently serves as a senior advisor to KKR, a non-executive chairman of MAN Group Plc’s institutional department, the president of Man Investments SGR S.p.A. and the chairman of the advisory board at Financial Assets.
