CIFM Asset Management (Hong Kong) (CIFM (HK)), a subsidiary of China International Fund Management (CIFM) has named Anthony Ho as new chief executive for Hong Kong and overseas businesses replacing Hank Chen.

In his new role, Anthony will head up the Hong Kong office and will drive the firm’s international strategy and expansion.

Ho joined CIFM from JP Morgan Asset Management, where he served as managing director in the global multi-asset group, managing director. Prior to this, he worked as deputy chief executive officer at China Asset Management (Hong Kong) and as head of Asian institutional investment and head of Asian research at Fidelity.

Additionally, Chen took over the role as new chief operating officer to expand the company’s international operations. In his new role, Chen will report to Anthony Ho.

Based in Shanghai, CIFM was established as a joint venture between JP Morgan Asset Management (UK) and Shanghai International Trust & Investment.
