Daniel Nolan, currently the president and CEO of Graypoint, is slated to become partner and vice chairman of Cerity Partners.

Republic Capital Group is providing advisory services to Graypoint for the merger, with Alston & Bird acting as legal counsel.

Cerity Partners has appointed Lowenstein Sandler for legal advice.

Nolan said: “This partnership is an extension of the same core values upon which Graypoint was founded. By joining forces with Cerity Partners, we are doubling down on our commitment to help clients preserve, steward and grow the wealth they’ve created—and to help them define where their wealth meets purpose.”

Cerity Partners president and CEO Kurt Miscinski stated: “We’re truly excited to welcome our new partners and colleagues from Graypoint to our firm. Their breadth and depth of expertise are a wonderful complement to our firm.  We look forward to building a world class firm with them.”

In April, Cerity Partners merged with Cook Wealth, a wealth management firm from Raleigh, North Carolina.

Cook Wealth offers financial advising, tax advising, and investment management services tailored for professionals, business owners, and retirees.
