Cazenove Capital, the wealth management arm of Schroders, has named Bob Hair as the wealth planning director and head of its Edinburgh office.
Hair will assume the new role on 31 October, with responsibility for the overall management of the office. He will be tasked with offering investment structuring, and tax-efficient investment advice for clients.

Hair most recently served as a senior director in the investment advisory arm of PwC in London. He served as chairperson of PwC's FCA committee, as a member of the investment committee, as well as played a key role in the development of PwC's private/family office service.
He previously also worked at Edinburgh-based multi-disciplinary private client firm Turcan Connell, with responsibility for leading the wealth management function. He was also a member of the executive board and the investment committee at Turcan Connell.
