Carne Group, a provider of independent governance solutions for the asset management sector, has hired Steve Bernat as the new CEO of its Luxembourg office.

Bernat has a career spanning over 17 years in Luxembourg asset management industry. He most recently served at Lemanik Asset Management in Luxembourg.
At Lemanik, he oversaw development of the firm’s management company business.
He also served as a member of Lemanik’s executive committee, tasked with responsible for business development, marketing and distribution services.
Bernat’s career also includes stint at Citibank’s Securities and Fund Services unit, where he served within operations, product management and business development. Before that, he served at State Street Bank / IFDS, and Linedata Services.
