By Verdict Staff

In his new role, Fellbom will be responsible to boost the manager’s presence there among existing and new clients. Fellbom will be based in Luxembourg and will report to David Fegonese, global head of Sales.

Earlier Fellbom had spend three years within real estate fund management at UFFI Ream and Corum AM in Paris as head of Business Development.

He has spent over 20 years building business in the financial sector. He has worked for Handelsbanken Capital Market in Paris and Stockholm, and Natixis Securities as global head of Sales.

Mischa Cornet, who was initially covering the Nordic markets, will now focus on the Netherlands and Luxembourg for Carmignac.

The manager has been building its presence in Northern Europe, with offices opening in Frankfurt and London in 2012, and a future office in Zurich in 2013.

Having hired some 80 new staff over the past three years, Carmignac claims a client base of about 1 million across Europe, invested in its current range of 18 funds, which are distributed through a broad variety of channels.
