Offshore law firm Carey Olsen has hired corporate and finance lawyer Claire McConway in London to develop its Russian practice.
Previously, McConway practiced corporate law for nine years at major international UK and US firms in London, advising on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and equity capital markets work.

Subsequently, she spent four years with an offshore law firm in Bermuda, Moscow and London where she was responsible for running the Moscow office before relocating to London in 2013.
McConway has particular expertise in corporate and finance transactions involving Russia and the CIS, which often utilize BVI companies.
