Canada Life Investments has appointed Craig Rippe as the head of multi-asset funds and Mike Willans as head of equities.

In the newly created role, Rippe will co-manage the firm’s multi-asset funds range with CIO David Marchant. The scope of Rippe’s new role includes management of the Canlife Portfolio funds and the LF Canlife Managed 0%-35% fund.

At the same time, Rippe will retain his current role of managing the LF Canlife UK Equity Income fund and the LF Canlife UK Equity Income & Bond fund, along with senior fund manager Eugene O’Neill.

Willans currently serves as the head of international equities. In the new role, he will manage the equities arm with responsibility for the UK and international equity teams.
