British private bank Brown Shipley has appointed Jim Willens as the chairman of its board of directors.
Willens will replace Alan Dickinson, who has stepped down after three years to join Lloyds Banking Group as a director.

Willens has over 30 years of experience in the financial services sector, including over sixteen at board level. He served as a non-executive director at Brown Shipley since 1 January last year. He also held the role from 5 January 2012 to 31 December 2012.
Apart from this, he also sits on Brown Shipley’s audit, risk and compliance committees, as well as presently serves as the chief executive of Newcastle Building Society.
