British wealth manager Brown Shipley has hired Alan Evans as client director and team leader for its investment management function, and Greg Mackie as a client senior manager for its wealth planning team.
In his new role, Evans will be in charge for the development of firm’s London-based investment management teams.

Based in the firm’s London office, Evans will report to head of business management John Edmeads.
He joins from RBS International and has over three decades of experience in the financial services and wealth management industries.
Mackie, who will be based in firm’s Edinburgh office, will report to head of wealth management Roger Clark. He will be responsible for playing a supporting role in the development of company’s wealth planning offering.
Mackie previously held senior roles at Towry and RBS. He has experience in advising UHNW and HNW clients and specializes in advising clients on issues including inheritance tax planning, investment management and retirement planning advice.
