British wealth manager Brown Shipley has hired Gavin Wiggans as new business development director.
Wiggans will report directly to the Jon Sherlock, head of Manchester office.

He will be responsible for developing Brown Shipley’s relationships with the intermediary community, particularly focusing on accountants and solicitors.
Wiggans, who has 25 years of experience in financial services industry, has joined Brown Shipley from Standard Life, where he worked for 19 years.
Sherlock said: "Gavin is an excellent addition to our team and will help us continue with our growth strategy.
"Furthermore, Gavin’s extensive experience of working with intermediaries, particularly in helping them develop their client propositions, will be invaluable."
