Brown Advisory has joined forces with two Austin-based investment management teams- Blackhaw Wealth Management and Oxbow Advisors- to launch a presence in Austin, Texas.
Blackhaw founder Ian McAbeer has now been appointed as partner, portfolio manager and head of Brown Advisory’s Austin office. Other Blackhaw employees including Tushar Shah, Sarah Richardson and Mia Karides have also joined Brown Advisory.

Erik Cohen, Jonathan Levy, and Mindy McDuffie have joined Brown Advisory from Oxbow Advisors.
