Stubbs, who has over 13 years experience in the financial services industry, has joined BMI from Canaccord, where he served as a stockbroker advising clients on their investment decisions.
Prior to this, Stubbs has served as a trader at Cenkos and investment manager at Brewin Dolphin.
The move follows the launch a platform-based international managed portfolio service in December last year, with Praemium International providing the administration, execution and custody capability.
Matt Watson, head of BMI’s Guernsey office, said: "We are focused on maintaining our existing high service levels as we continue to expand and I am confident that Jeremy will be a major asset to Brooks Macdonald International."
