The new office will add to Brewin regional network which is spread across more than 30 locations in the UK and Channel Islands.
The move is the latest event in the ongoing rationalization of Brewin regional network, which has seen it shut divisions based in Teeside, Hereford, Inverness and Stoke recently.
Stephen Ford, head of investment management and director at Brewin Dolphin, said: "We are continually reviewing how we conduct business to ensure that our clients receive the best possible service.
"I am confident that all our clients will be very well served from our new Bournemouth office and that we will continue to grow our important and highly valued business in Hampshire and Dorset."
