Brewin Dolphin’s head of IT Gareth Williams and director of marketing Philip Browne have quit the firm as part of the firm’s restructuring plan.
Williams left the firm after 12 years, while Browne leaves after eight years.

As part of the restructure, the firm has hired Thomas Lack as new chief operating officer and Rupert Tyler as London office head.
In his new role, Tyler will be supported in this role by Burgemann, Long and others.
Lack joined Brewin Dolphin from Coutts, where he worked as head of wealth operations. Prior to this, he worked in finance and operations roles at RBS Global Banking & Markets, Morgan Stanley and UBS.
Additionally, Rob Burgeman and Peter Long have left the firm as co-heads of the London office but will work with Brewin to focus on their client books.
Meantime, Stephen Jones has also named as new senior regional director, reporting into head of investment management, Stephen Ford.
