The ex-chairman of the UBS investment bank, Wilmot-Sitwell will be based in London office and he is expected to join in the coming months.

Both Orcel and Wilmot-Sitwell were veterans of their respective banks before the moves.

Sitwell will now take on some of Orcel’s former responsibilities in emerging markets, apart from taking on the top Europe job.

Orcel had been offered the Europe president role that will be vacated by BofA Merrill banker Jonathan Moulds when he retires by the end of 2012.
