Bank of America (BofA) Merrill Lynch has appointed Martin Mills as its new head of Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) product solutions division.
Mills will replace John Cavanagh, who departed from the position at the end of March 2015, and will report to Fernando Vicario and Marc Tempelman, co-heads of EMEA corporate banking and debt capital markets at the bank, according to an internal memo seen by IFR.

As the head of EMEA product solutions, Mills will oversee the bank’s liability management, capital products, ratings advisory for a number of financial institutions, Green bonds, and commercial paper origination.
Mills, who joined BofA Merrill Lynch in 1999 from Moody’s, has previously headed the bank’s EMEA financial institutions ratings advisory and EMEA Green bond origination.
