Bank of America Corp’s Merrill Lynch has hired Mark Johnson and Brian Moore from Morgan Stanley Wealth Management as part of its expansion plan in New Jersey and Minnesota, reports Reuters.
Johnson has joined Merrill Lynch as senior vice president after more than two decades with Morgan Stanley. He will be operating from Minnesota.

Johnson, who was named in Barron’s 2013 list of top advisers, managed roughly $192m in client assets and generated annual revenue of over $2m.
In New Jersey, Moore has joined Merrill Lynch from Morgan Stanley, where he managed roughly $113m in client assets and generated an annual production of $660,873.
Moore has worked in the advising industry for nearly two decades. He was based out of Morgan Stanley’s Shrewsbury office. He had been an adviser with Citigroup’s Smith Barney unit before joining Morgan Stanley.
