BNY Mellon Wealth Management has appointed Michael Cabanas, former managing director at Fiduciary Trust International, as senior director, to strengthen its presence in Florida.
In his new role, Cabanas will be responsible for sales in the firm’s Southeast US region.

Having worked with Fiduciary Trust International for seven years, Cabanas was a private banker with JP Morgan prior to that.
Separately, BNY Mellon also appointed McBee Butcher as senior portfolio manager in Philadelphia. He will serve the investment management and wealth planning needs of high-net-worth clients.
Butcher most recently worked as a senior portfolio manager at McCabe Capital Managers, Ltd., and was the vice president at Drexel Morgan & Co.
