BNY Mellon has hired Belin Robertson as new senior director for business development.

Based in the firm’s wealth management office in Philadelphia, Robertson will report to managing director Garrett Alton.

In his new role, Robertson will increase the firm’s sales force nationally, including a substantial increase in the Philadelphia region.

Robertson has joined BNY Mellon Wealth Management from Merrill Lynch, where he served as a financial advisor serving high net worth clients.

Prior to that, he led business development efforts for Neuberger Berman in several Western and Midwestern markets.

Recently, BNY Mellon Wealth Management has also appointed three senior portfolio managers to its Philadelphia regional office including Renzo Cerabino, Carolyn Melzer and Clark Stossel.
