An ex-manager from Henderson, Paul Casson, has been appointed by Artemis, amid a reshuffle at the group.
Casson will work alongside Tim Steer, and assit him in managing the GBP504 million (US$774.2 million) Artemis UK Growth fund. Casson will also work on its segregated institutional UK Growth accounts and the Artemis UK Hedge fund.

Casson exited Henderson in January having joined the firm in October 2005 from SVM. He co-managed the EUR154 million Henderson Horizon Pan European Alpha and EUR1.7 billion Henderson HF Pan European Equity funds.
Steer’s current co-manager Stephen Yiu, who joined Artemis with him from New Star in 2009, has resigned in order to move back to his native Hong Kong.
