Prior to joining BNY Mellon, Scavone has worked for eight years at JP Morgan Private Bank, most recently serving as a managing director in the New York Tri-State region in addition to serving as market director for the Mid-Atlantic and New York Metro regions.

Earlier to this, he has also worked with Merrill Lynch for ten years, most recently serving as director of the firm’s Princeton, N.J. corporate campus office.

Meister said: "Dan will lead BNY Mellon Wealth Management’s strategic expansion throughout the state by opening additional locations and at least doubling our advisor group.

"Adding staff is one of Scavone’s top priorities. We have openings for a number of portfolio managers and development professionals in New Jersey. Those positions are part of BNY Mellon Wealth Management’s goal to grow its sales staff by 50 percent while also adding private bankers and portfolio managers," he added.
