BNY Mellon has appointed Adrian Gordon as head of institutional distribution for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

Gordon joins BNY Mellon Investment Management from Perpetual Limited, where, as European Head, he led the company’s growth outside Asia.

Prior to that he has held senior positions at a number of organisations, including Mercer’s, Barclays Global Investors and OppenheimerFunds.

Gordon will be replacing Jonathan Lubran, who is retiring at the end of 2013 after 10 years at BNY Mellon. Lubran will remain as a director on a number of the Fund and Management Company Boards.
